Farmer's
Choice Organics is a boutique Organic nursery; and as the first
nursery to have been certified by Australian Certified Organic we
proudly display the bud logo as your assurance of ‘quality seeking
excellence’.
Our Nursery is nestled in the sunny foothills of
the beautiful Myocum valley of Byron Bay, in the ‘Rainbow Region’ on
the Far North Coast of New South Wales.
We grow in a subtropical climate, our microclimate centres
around a bluff known as Scarrabolloti’s lookout, which is the
highest point on the south rim of the volcano called ‘Wollumbin’
that extends from Byron To Burleigh, we grow at the base of the
bluff along the free flowing waterline of the Coorabell springs.
We specialise in providing the best traditional varieties of
potted herbs and seasonal vegetable seedlings, all grown under the
strictest Certified Organic processes and procedures.
We create
our high quality, sun hardened seedlings using a uniquely formulated
hand blended soil, the best available Certified Organic ingredients,
and an abundance of pure mountain spring water.
These
ingredients we believe are the basic necessities for a good
seedling, but high quality requires a constant and generous topping
of ‘Love and Care’. These ingredients grow a strong, excellent,
healthy life giving plant.
We pride ourselves in our
responsiveness to customer requests and the part we are playing in
empowering communities to grow their own food.
Our unique
combination of ingredients and processes has created demand for our
seedling displays in retail outlets such as organic food shops,
local supermarkets, Rural Cooperatives, Retail Nurseries and even
cafes.
